Calibrated Measurement Equipment

The TS 12255 standard covers the operational structure, technical equipment, personnel qualifications and certification rules for authorised services working on lifts, escalators and moving walks. Companies applying for a TSE Service Qualification Certificate are expected to keep the following instruments calibrated and present the required supporting documents.

Required Measurement Instruments

1. Newton meter (dynamometer)
2. Vernier caliper
3. Multimeter
4. Lux meter
5. Tachometer
6. Clamp meter
7. Insulation tester

These instruments and items of equipment must be calibrated periodically. Their calibration certificates should be available during inspections.
